Monoplace hyperbaric chamber

SAMA N-Series

Reinforced monoplace chamber built for continuous clinical operation in hospitals and high-volume centers.

SAMA N-Series — monoplace hyperbaric chamber by OHB Industries

Overview

In-depth notes on engineering choices, intended use, and how the SAMA N-Series integrates into your facility.

The SAMA N-Series is a reinforced monoplace hyperbaric chamber engineered for continuous clinical duty. It is selected by hospitals, wound care centers, diabetic-foot programs, and high-volume hyperbaric medicine clinics where operational uptime and technical traceability are critical.

Built for intensive clinical use

The N-Series shares the 32 mm acrylic viewport with the M-Series but its architecture is reinforced for continuous pressurization cycles across full clinical shifts. At 600 kg with 1319 mm external height and 1200 mm width, it fits standard clinical hyperbaric suites while preserving service access and maintenance clearance.

Clinical instrumentation

Includes full instrumentation, redundant alarms, event logging, and an optional dual operator + supervising-physician station. Maximum working pressure is 29 PSI (~3 ATA absolute) with O₂ supply up to 70 PSI. The compressor is industrial oil-free with optional active redundancy for facilities that require operational continuity.

Compliance and traceability

The N-Series is engineered with reference to internationally recognized pressure-vessel, safety, medical-equipment and healthcare-facility design criteria. Each unit ships with a technical dossier, as-built drawings, test certificates, and reference documentation available under NDA and upon request — supporting internal audits and the regulatory pathway that applies in the destination market.

Implementation and operation

OHB supports the project from suite design and oxygen/electrical infrastructure through clinical and operator training. The service-oriented architecture enables scheduled preventive maintenance without prolonged downtime. A resident technical service contract is recommended for hospital units with continuous flow.

Technical decision

If your unit will operate full clinical shifts, requires operational metrics, and must integrate with formal hospital workflows, the N-Series is typically the recommended choice over the M-Series. For higher volume or group treatment, evaluate the MP-Series multiplace platform.
