SAMA M-Series — monoplace hyperbaric chamber by OHB Industries

Overview

In-depth notes on engineering choices, intended use, and how the SAMA M-Series integrates into your facility.

The SAMA M-Series is OHB Industries' compact monoplace hyperbaric chamber, engineered for outpatient clinics, wellness and longevity centers, sports medicine programs, and veterinary practices that need a reliable, quiet, and space-efficient unit without compromising on clinical engineering standards.

Who it is designed for

The M-Series is typically chosen by outpatient clinics, wellness centers, sports recovery programs, and veterinary facilities starting hyperbaric operations or expanding capacity without major construction. Its optimized footprint fits into standard treatment rooms and does not require special structural reinforcement in most installations.

Engineering philosophy

Each M-Series chamber is built around a 32 mm acrylic viewport with a 1000 mm tube length, giving the patient an open visual experience and the operator continuous oversight. Maximum working pressure is 29 PSI (~3 ATA absolute), with oxygen supply rated to 70 PSI through redundant regulation. The 2400 × 1200 × 1319 mm external envelope integrates with compact clinical workflows, and the 850 kg total weight typically requires no additional civil work.

Operation and clinical experience

The system includes an operator HMI for treatment-profile logging and technical alarms, plus an oil-free low-vibration compressor. Each unit ships calibrated and commissioned with as-built drawings and operator manuals. Treatment protocols are defined and supervised by the prescribing physician.

Facility integration

We support your team from preliminary suite design through commissioning: layout drawings, oxygen requirements, ventilation, heat rejection, and emergency egress. Installation includes hydrostatic testing, functional validation, operator training, and full technical documentation. The M-Series is compatible with periodic preventive maintenance plans and ongoing technical support.

Lifecycle and service

OHB chambers are designed for long-term clinical operation. We provide a 24-month standard warranty, preventive maintenance contracts, OEM spare parts, recurrent training, and major refurbishment. This service-oriented architecture reduces operator uncertainty and protects the investment across the asset's full lifecycle.
